How to set out for an impossible journey? This is the question that led designer and illustrator Federico Florindo and the team behind the Ferrovia-Museo to begin compiling Stazionario, an illustrated catalogue of objects connected to the story of a century-old train station in Central Italy.
Stazionario (Italian for ‘stationary’) documents how these objects — some of which are now long gone — were created and used, revealing a fascinating tangle of lives, places, and events that would otherwise be hidden or lost to time.
The first selection of objects and stories can be explored right now by taking part to one of the dedicated live tours at the Ferrovia-Museo in San Cesareo: you can learn more by visiting ferroviamuseo.it. Further ways to access the collection will be disclosed soon!
